Rule #1 when you’re driving: Don’t use your phone — especially in an expensive sports car. Popular streamer Jack Doherty learned this lesson the hard way during a live stream that ended in a car crash.

During his stream, Doherty was driving a newly purchased McLaren and made the critical mistake of using his phone. Distracted, he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a rail, an incident that resulted in only a few bruises for his cameraman but significant damage to the car.

The aftermath of the crash was swift. Doherty’s streaming channel on Kick was taken down, rendering it currently inaccessible.

This is not Doherty’s first controversy on the platform, as he had previously faced a ban in June following a physical altercation with another streamer, N3on.

Doherty’s history of contentious incidents includes being slapped by Adin Ross’s friend Prime during a stream, a consequence of a verbal altercation in September. Additionally, last October, Doherty went viral for a confrontation that escalated into violence involving his bodyguard and an attendee at a party, after an apparent social snub by Corinna Kopf led to a heated exchange.
